Qualification Developer responsibilities for the New Zealand Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (European Regulations) (Level 5) with strands in Mechanical, and Avionics was transferred from ServiceIQ to Ringa Hora Workforce Development Council on its establishment in October 2021. The qualification was developed to meet the needs of a specific market segment; however, its use has declined since the original development in 2012. There has not been any use or completion of the qualification since 2022. Ringa Hora Workforce Development Council subsequently contacted the current programme owners and promoted the proposal to expire the qualification through the Ringa Hora website. Attestations were received from the current programme owners who confirmed the qualification was no longer required by the industry. Subsequently, the decision has been made to discontinue the qualification. |
