Summary

The unit standard listed above was reinstated and reviewed in 2023. At that time, the industry working group recommended that the standard remained fit for purpose with minor amendments. However, there were two amendments that were omitted from that reinstatement and review and the current revision of the standard addresses this. The credit total of the standard increased from 8 to 10 to more accurately reflect the number of notional learning hours required by a learner to complete the standard’s requirements. The level of the standard increased from 3 to 4 to accurately reflect the complexity of the content.
