Entry Requirements |
Students under 20 years of age should have:
a Completed at least Year 12, and b Achieved at least 50 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above including at least 14 credits at Level 1 or higher in English, and c Achieved 14 credits in Mathematics at Level 1 or higher Students over 20 years of age qualify for direct admission to the Certificate in Foundation Studies. Minimum entry for international students of IELTS (or equivalent) General or Academic Level 5.5 with no band lower than 5. IELTS scores must be taken from a single IELTS Test Report Form (i.e. combining scores from more than one test is not permissible). |

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
