How to apply for degree approval or accreditation online and the documents you'll need

Applicants must make an online application for degree programme approval or accreditation using the providers portal.

The guidelines for degree panels outline detailed information on panel composition and process. Applicants should include a list of panel nominees, along with their CVs, in the online application.

How to submit an application online

Follow the steps below to apply for degree approval and/or accreditation online:

  1. Log in to the providers portal.
  2. Choose 'TEO Applications'.
  3. Create an application.
  4. Select the evaluation
  5. Select 'Degree approval and accreditation'. This takes you to an application overview.
  6. Click on 'Contact Details'. The contact details page will be prepopulated with your organisation’s contact details. You should make any changes necessary to ensure the details are appropriate for the programme or accreditation.
  7. On the Application Detail page complete the relevant fields.
  8. On the Supporting Documents page, attach the completed application form, as a Word document, along with all required documentation and evidence in PDF format.
  9. Submit.

An email acknowledging receipt of your application will be generated automatically and sent to you.
