Schools need to send to NZQA candidate details, results and entries for internal assessment as well as entries for external assessment.  The accuracy of this information including candidate information is vital as NZQA uses these results to award qualifications.  If external entries are not accurate it increases the possibility of administrative errors such as the loss of papers in the marking process.
