The MNA visit

NZQA conducts a visit to interview staff about the assessment systems their school uses. Schools will normally be notified in February if there is to be a visit during that year. The duration of the visit will vary according to the size of the school and the number of departments or learning areas to be reviewed.

The NZQA School Relationship Manager will:

• meet with the Principal's Nominee and Heads of Department
• provide feedback on the findings to the Principal and senior management team.
