Quality assurance of ITPs

Complaints

Students / learners that are enrolled at an ITP have access to certain rights and protections. Note: NZQA can only investigate complaints that relate to the quality of a programme or course at an institute of technology and polytechnic (ITP).

If you have a complaint about an ITP, you should raise the matter with the ITP in the first instance. If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily, and you are unhappy with the ITPs internal complaints procedure, you may make a formal complaint in writing to NZQA, addressed to the:

ITP Unit Manager
NZQA
Box 160
Wellington

You may also complain in writing to the Office of the Ombudsmen.
