Compliance notices issued to PTEs for failure to supply Annual Return

This page displays the private training establishments (PTEs) that are currently non-compliant with annual return requirements. These providers have been issued with a compliance notice.

NZQA issues Compliance Notices to private training establishments (PTEs) for failing to submit the necessary documents for their Annual Return, as required by the registration requirements (PDF, 453KB).

PTEs are required to provide the Annual Return within 90 days of their financial year-end. The PTEs listed below have ten working days from the date they were issued with a Compliance Notice to supply the required documentation. If a PTE does not comply with the Compliance Notice, NZQA will cancel or impose conditions on its registration.

Summary list of Compliance Notices issued

As of 28 September 2011, the following PTEs have yet to comply with their Compliance Notice. NZQA will update the list regularly to reflect the current position.

  • There are currently no PTE's that have been issued a compliance notice.

Annual return a statutory requirement

As part of quality assurance, all PTEs are required to provide a Statutory Declaration (DOC, 162KB) and a Chartered Accountant Professional Attestation (DOC, 128KB). These documents make up the Annual Return.

The Compliance Notices are issued pursuant to section 255(2) of the Education Act 1989.
