Format Change for Level 2 Art History Examination Papers in 2009

The 2009 Assessment Specifications for Level 2 Art History contain the following statement under 'Format of the assessment' for achievement standards 90227 Discuss art works and 90228 Examine subjects and themes in art:

A resource booklet containing images (plates) of selected art works, and a question and answer booklet, will be provided.

This year candidates will be given:

one resource booklet of plates for both papers
a question and answer booklet for each paper.

In past years candidates were given:

a resource booklet for each paper with questions to be answered
an answer booklet for each paper.

The style of the questions with part-questions for Achievement, Merit and Excellence, remains the same as in previous years.
