Feedback on the 2009 Top Art Touring Schedule

Every year an exhibition of top visual arts folios, which earned Excellence at level 3, visits galleries and schools nationwide. Top Art offers students a chance to see first-hand a range of high-calibre art produced by their peers, and to gain an idea of what they need to aim for in order to achieve Excellence themselves.

During the 2008 Top Art student art exhibition, feedback was received from some teachers and regional organisations about the touring schedule for the annual exhibition. Concerns were raised that using a similar route every year meant the same regions were always viewing the exhibition later in the development of students' portfolios.

Following on from this feedback, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority is reviewing the exhibition route, and would like the help of art teachers and Heads of Art. If you could take time to answer the questions below, and return this form to:
