Suggested Times for 2009 NCEA and Scholarship Examination Papers

The Suggested Examination Times for 2009 sets out the suggested times candidates should allocate for each externally assessed standard in the 2009 examinations.

All National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) examination sessions are three hours long.

Schools are requested to give this information to appropriate Heads of Department/Faculty or subject teachers to pass on to their candidates prior to the examinations.

For further information, teachers should refer to the Assessment Specifications for each externally assessed standard.

Note:

  1. All written Scholarship examinations are also of three hours’ duration.
  2. A fold-out back flap will again be included in all Scholarship examination answer booklets this year to assist markers with the collation of marks.
