Top Scholars from the 1999 University Bursaries Qualification

The 1999 Top Scholar awards will be presented at a ceremony at Government House on 7 April 2000.

There are two awards for top overall male scholar and the subject award for History is shared. No candidates achieved Top Scholar standard in Chinese and Indonesian.

Each overall Top Scholar receives $8 000 and top subject scholars receive $5 000 (apart from Latin where there were fewer than 100 candidates so the award is $2 000).

In addition to the Top Scholar awards, there are monetary awards for Bursaries candidates who achieved five or six scholarship results. Those with five scholarships get $2 500 and those with six get $3 000.
