School leavers sent new results document School leavers have been sent a new results document called the School Results Summary (SRS). All 2008 Year 13 students - 39,804 - were sent a copy of their SRS in May. Any other student can request a free copy when they leave school.
"The School Results Summary has come about as part of the NCEA enhancements programme," says NZQA deputy chief executive Qualifications Bali Haque. "Students will benefit from a document that lists all their school achievements for applying for tertiary study or employment." It differs from the Record of Achievement (ROA) in what is shown and how achievements are grouped. The ROA continues to be available on request. The School Results Summary differs to the ROA in several key respects:
