Environment Māori and Whenua Qualifications

The Environment Māori and Whenua qualifications are nationally recognised qualifications intended for whānau, hapū, iwi, and others, who are seeking formal qualifications in areas of mātauranga mahinga kai, mātauranga taiao, and mātauranga wāhi tapu and wāhi tupuna.

The review of these qualifications was led by a Governance Group appointed based on their expertise within the Environment Māori and Whenua fields and assisted by Māori Qualifications Services (NZQA).
