This review is the result of the need to ensure that existing standards remain fit for purpose and relevant for users.

Panelist applications

We are seeking a breadth of expertise for the review panels and they should reflect a balance of the sector. The review panels will operate in the best interests of the whole sector, acknowledging that members will have been appointed as coming from different backgrounds. The review panels will provide technical expertise in ensuring standards are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the community, employers and learners.

The panel will be scheduled to meet for one two day, face-to-face meeting in late May 2016. There is also the possibility of a shorter follow up meeting by teleconference or Skype so access to appropriate equipment will be useful. Members of the review panels will be paid a sitting fee, and all travel and accommodation costs will be met by NZQA.

If you wish to apply for the review panel, please email a completed application form (DOCX, 87KB) to nqs@nzqa.govt.nz.

Applicants will be notified by email as soon as practical after the closing date. Meetings are likely to be convened in Wellington, although both the location and dates of the review panel will be determined once the availability and location of the majority of successful applicants is considered.

Further information will be made available from this webpage as the project progresses.
