Final Report
This report presents information concerning candidate performance in examinations for Trade Certification, Industry Registration and New Zealand Certificates in 2003.
The tables included in this publication illustrate trends in the tertiary examinations, provide information on examination results for various subject groupings and supply statistics relating to individual subjects. Information on candidates achieving qualifications is not included with these statistics.
Where tables refer to candidate numbers, or include these numbers in calculations, they are based on the number of candidates who actually received final grades or results in the qualifications concerned. In the past, some analyses have been based on examination entry figures.
These tables represent final results, including the outcome of all reviews, reconsiderations and compassionate considerations.
In this report, the Qualifications Authority has attempted to supply general data that is likely to be useful and of interest to a broad audience. More specific information is available on request and will be charged for on a cost recovery basis. Contact Tertiary Assessment and Moderation.
