2018 review of Special Education unit standards
Closed 10 Dec 2018
NZQA National Qualifications Services invites feedback on two reviewed unit standards in the Special Education subfield.
The remaining seven standards from the Special Education subfield will be reviewed in 2019 – see the review page for opportunities to contribute to that review.
These standards are being reviewed to maintain their currency. This review has been informed by feedback from primary users of the standards.
The key changes proposed are:
- Expiry of standard 7302 due to lack of usage.
- Terminology changes in 7310 to ensure it’s up to date and to reflect the new template, where Explanatory notes are renamed Guidance information, and Evidence requirements become Performance criteria.
Important note: These draft standards are for consultation purposes only. No assessment can occur against these standards until the listed versions are published.
