A new approach for assessment support material
Closed 06 Oct 2017
Feedback and expressions of interest invited
NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) is undertaking a project to develop assessment support material that has a new approach to that provided in the past. These have typically consisted of Assessor and Student guidelines that relate predominately to one unit standard.
Feedback from stakeholders during recent reviews/development of unit standards has indicated that more integrated and inclusive material could be provided. This could be materials that have a wider focus on a whole domain or Sub Field, or a thematic approach that addresses topics such as diversity, ‘soft skills’, assessing behaviour, across a range of relevant standards and/or qualifications.
We invite feedback and suggestions, and expressions of interest in being involved further in this development. We will communicate further only with people who signal their interest.
Feedback, suggestions, and expressions of interest can be sent to nqs@nzqa.govt.nz. While we will welcome responses at any time and there is no deadline, we will particularly appreciate responses by Friday 6 October, to enable us to consider and plan a way forward.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
