Consultation on reviewed Legal Studies unit standards 2020
Closed 28 Aug 2020
Tēnā koutou katoa
NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) invites feedback on the review of six unit standards in the Legal Studies domain at levels 2 and 3.
The major changes proposed, in addition to the amended titles and credits, include:
-
updating legislation and guidance information
-
replacing the current Level 3 standard with a new single outcome standard that focuses on evaluation (which aligns with the other Level 3 standards) and providing graded achievement criteria. The new Level 3 standard will replace unit standard 10347, which is proposed to expire.
Please see our Legal Studies review page to view the draft unit standards (8545, 8551, 8552, 8555, 10337, 10347).
We invite comment on any aspect of these reviewed unit standards. Please send your responses to nqs@nzqa.govt.nz by Friday 28 August 2020.
