Consultation on reviewed Music Technology unit standards 2020
Closed 16 Mar 2020
NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) invites you to provide feedback on the review of four unit standards at levels 1-3 in the Music Technology domain.
The major changes proposed are:
- The revision of one standard and the addition of five new standards
- The expiry of three standards on 31 December 2022. These three standards have specified replacement relationships with five new standards.
As part of these changes, there is no longer any assessment at level 3 on using music notation software.
For more information, please refer to our Music Technology unit standards review page.
Feedback
We invite comment on any aspect of the reviewed standards. We are especially interested in any comments and/or thoughts on the proposed changes to assessment involving music notation software.
Please send your responses by Monday 16 March 2020 to nqs@nzqa.govt.nz.
