Statement |
Photography is my passion and documenting my whānau and marae has enabled many stories to be told. I continue to learn more about my whakapapa and my identity. My whānau are very special to me and I have a special bond with my Grandad Ike. Regularly visiting him, he is often sitting outside talking with someone. This artwork is the essence of my Grandad. I am privileged to have him in my life. I am proud to be Māori. |
