Co-Managed Trial Case Studies
In 2017, NZQA worked closely with a number of schools and kura on a series of digital examination Co-Managed Trials. These were different from the other Digital Trials and Pilots, in that NZQA invigilated and marked these examinations on behalf of the schools to increase its understanding of how digital examinations are managed.
In addition to this, the schools were visited by NZQA for a series of staff and student focus groups staged in the months leading up to, and after their digital examination experience.
This information was developed into a series of case studies that were used to inform school considerations around digital examinations.
