Under section 452 of the Education and Training Act 2020, they need to supply Inland Revenue (IRD) with confirmation from NZQA that their study is comparable to levels 7, 8, 9 or 10 of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework. If currently studying overseas, they need to provide evidence to IRD that they have been enrolled full-time in their course. |

Pre-Assessment Result (PRA) |
A pre-assessment of a qualification that was gained outside New Zealand is required for an 'Expression of Interest' under Immigration NZ's Skilled Migrant Category. A PAR is not sufficient for determining suitability for meeting Immigration New Zealand's Long Term Skill Shortage List (LTSSL) requirements. It is a provisional and non-binding assessment that does not require any qualifications or supporting documents to be sent to NZQA. It does not guarantee the result of any future assessment by NZQA. |
