74,000 go online to access NCEA results

15 Jan 2019

Over 165,000 students are today accessing their 2018 NCEA results via the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) website.

Deputy Chief Executive Kristine Kilkelly says the day has been successful with no issues reported.

“Today has been very busy, starting with thousands of students going online early to eagerly see their results. Just under 74,000 students had logged in by 4 pm.

“As we expected, thousands of students logged in each hour throughout the day as they checked or re-checked their results and shared them with family and friends.

“NZQA manages the release of NCEA results carefully to ensure students can quickly and easily access their results. Our website and IT systems have performed well to provide students with immediate access to their personal records.”

The NZQA call centre can be contacted on 0800 697 296 or helpdesk@nzqa.govt.nz.

Ms Kilkelly adds NZQA’s call centre will be open until 8pm and extra staff are on hand to answer queries students and their families may have about their NCEA results.
