The NSN is a unique number, used by secondary students to access their learner login, log into digital exams and see their NCEA results.

After secondary school, people can use the NZQA learner login to see their NZ Record of Achievement and order NCEA certificates.

Until now, people who don’t know or have forgotten their NSN have had to call NZQA during business hours or email our contact centre. Awhina provides an additional channel to quickly access your NSN anytime, anywhere.

Awhina is also able to communicate in either English or Te Reo Māori, reflecting NZQA’s ambition as a Te Reo learning organisation.

Awhina is able to answer some of the other most frequently asked questions NZQA’s Contact Centre receives. Over time, as we learn more about how our customers interact with Awhina, she will support more services.

To chat with Awhina, people can click her picture on pages across the NZQA website.
