SUBJECTS

Text-based subjects at levels 1, 2 and 3 14 subjects; 35 exam sessions. Click here for more information.

READINESS

Practise using features and functions of
exam software
Practical activities and video resources available from end of July
Experiencing the examination layout and navigation
2018 papers available for 35 exam sessions in updated digital format for practice (papers not available for Derived Grade evidence)
Schools opting in Schools continue to opt in; digital sessions flagged via Student Management System
Students switching to paper on the day Students can continue to switch to paper on the day
For Exam Centre Managers (ECM) and Supervisors Enhanced support materials; enhanced dashboard for exam management

SUPPORT

NZQA overall support Scaled up NZQA support model managed by NCEA Online and Operations and Logistics teams

TECHNICAL

Supported browsers Google Chrome V70, Firefox V59, Safari V11+; other browsers blocked
Functionality: spell-check (English); enlarge and change font; change line height; planning box; copy, paste and drag text; zoom; pause; regular auto-save Some new functionality (information to be updated as it is confirmed for each subject)
Student login Students use NZQA Learner Login before exams so must have this before exams start new requirement (To be confirmed by July)
