Southland and Otago NCEA exams

20 Nov 2018

Update as at Tuesday 20 November

The safety and well-being of students and staff is the foremost priority.

NCEA exams are going ahead as scheduled in all Southland and Otago schools/examination centres that are open.

If students are unable to get to the school due to heavy snow and possible road closures NZQA’s Derived Grade process ensures that NCEA students can achieve an authentic grade for their work.

Families of students who live in the Otago Southland region should check their school’s website/parent portal or social media pages to find out whether the school is open and school buses are running. Student safety is paramount.
