6.1 Schools' Assessment Policy
- Schools must maintain an assessment policy and incorporate in that assessment policy the nationally agreed guidelines published by NZQA for Managing National Assessment, including:
- internal moderation
- external moderation
- special assessment conditions
- authenticity of student work
- missed or late assessment opportunities
- resubmission of assessment material and further assessment opportunities for students
- appeals of assessment decisions
- breaches of the rules
- derived grades
- unexpected event grades
- managing the use of external providers.
