7.1.6 Unexpected Event Grade Process
- NZQA may publish on its website an unexpected event grade process to cater for exceptional events beyond the control of students which prevents their attendance, impairs their performance, or prevents them finishing an examination. The process is intended to cover exceptional events including (but not limited to) natural disasters, technical failures and public health emergencies.
- Where NZQA has published an unexpected event grade process under paragraph a of this Rule 7.1.6 NZQA may apply that process to exceptional events within the scope of that process.
