Assessment (including Examination) Rules for Schools with Consent to Assess 2014 (EXPIRED)

5.3 Conditions of Entry

  1. Once entered for assessment against an assessment standard or entry in New Zealand Scholarship 2014, it is a condition of that entry that the candidate:
    1. is subject to these Rules; and
    2. permits NZQA to access and use the material produced by the candidate for the purposes of the assessments including examinations (for example as published exemplars of outstanding work).
  2. Where a candidate is assessed against assessment standards with similar learning outcomes as identified in the Exclusions List, only the standard with the highest credit value will be used for award of qualifications.
  3. Candidates must pay fees to the school for entry in assessment standards or entry in New Zealand Scholarship up to the Key Date published by NZQA, and after that date must pay the fees directly to NZQA (the fees are set out in the Fee Schedule).
  4. Candidates who have not paid the relevant fee will not have results for the year used to award qualifications.
