Assessment (including Examination) Rules for Schools with Consent to Assess 2016 (EXPIRED)

5.6 Reporting

  1. Schools must report to NZQA all assessment results for Candidates, including Not Achieved, where the Candidates have presented work or evidence for assessment or have had an adequate opportunity to achieve the standard.
  2. Internal assessment results reported to NZQA, in relation to the scope of consent to assess under which the assessor is operating, must have been subject to an internal moderation process, must be up-to-date, and must have been verified for accuracy.
  3. Schools must establish and use processes to ensure that all Candidate entries for internally and externally assessed standards are reported to NZQA to meet published timelines.

  4. Unless notified to the contrary by the School or Candidate, NZQA will use the latest reported result for a standard when awarding qualifications, even if a result reported for a previous year was better.
  5. NZQA will release Candidate results for standards assessed in 2016 before 1 February 2017 via the Learner log-in.
  6. NZQA will release Candidate results for New Zealand Scholarship subjects in 2016 before 1 March 2017 via the Learner log-in.
  7. NZQA may set alternative dates for the release of results to Candidates in extenuating circumstances.
  8. Results release, Records of Achievement, and certificates will be in a form determined by NZQA and approved by the Chief Executive.
  9. Certified statements of official results will be available upon written application by the Candidates to NZQA and payment of the search and confirmation fee set out in the Fee Schedule.
