Explanatory note
This note is not part of these Rules. It is intended to indicate the general effect of the Rules.
These rules revoke the Transitional ITO Prescribed Quality Assurance Requirements Rules 2021 due to:
(a) transitional ITOs’ loss of recognition status with effect from the close of 31 December 2022; and
(b) in advance of that loss of recognition, the functions of transitional ITOs having been transferred to either Workforce Development Councils or tertiary education providers.
