Data file errors for entries in standards without consent to assess

Data file errors for entries in standards without consent to assess
If you enter students for a standard for which your provider code does not have Consent to Assess, you will now receive a data error, and the submitted data file will not be processed.
If you are making entries using another provider’s code, your school needs to hold the necessary subcontracting documentation.
Errors will also be generated by entries for RAS and Literacy and Numeracy/Te Reo Matatini me te Pāngarau draft achievement standards if the school does not have Ministry of Education approval to participate in the 2022 NCEA Pilots.
The links available on the Data File Submission page in the school’s provider login will identify errors. These errors will not be highlighted in the Key Indicators.
This change will improve data quality and provide clarity to schools when they are reporting results for standards outside of their Consent to Assess. The school’s Data Liaison Officer will provide support to resolve errors that occur.
