Trial of additional exemplars for Level 3 Accounting, Biology and Chemistry internal standards
To further support teachers in identifying the critical aspects of Excellence, NZQA is trialling the publication of an additional exemplar for each Level 3 internal standard for Accounting, Biology and Chemistry. The additional exemplar focuses on the requirements for a secure Excellence, while also identifying why the High Merit exemplar does not meet Excellence requirements. These exemplars will be identified on the appropriate subject exemplar page on the NZQA website under the heading ‘Trial Exemplars’.
NZQA intends to review the usefulness of these exemplars through an online survey which will be available for feedback on our website until 29 June 2018.
