Candidate Admission Slips and Examination Information
Please inform the appropriate staff that boxes containing Candidate Admission Slips and Candidate Information Sheets will be delivered to schools from 16 October 2017.
The boxes will contain the following for each candidate currently entered for an externally-assessed examination:
- Admission Slip
- Candidate Information Sheet.
Admission Slips will be sorted by candidate surname and also by any sort keys you may have provided with your school data, eg, by form group. In some cases, the Admission Slip may be two pages. The Admission Slips will be printed with a colour divider denoting the start of a new sort key. The sort key is printed on the divider in large font. Admission Slips will not be in envelopes.
School actions:
- Hand out the Admission Slips and have each candidate check and confirm their entries and address are correct.
- The late entry process detailed in the Principal’s Nominee EmailLink #5 should be followed if entries are missing.
- If a change of address for candidates is required, please make the necessary changes by data file submission immediately. This will ensure any booklets/materials are sent to the appropriate address in January.
If candidates lose their Admission Slips, schools can print a copy from their NZQA login page http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/login/ (Reports, Exam Reports link). This must then be signed by the Principal’s Nominee. If late entries have been made after the 1 September file, these will not show on a candidate’s original Admission Slip.
Please note: Candidates can reprint their Admission Slip through their learner login http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/login/ on the NZQA website, but this must also be signed by the Principal’s Nominee.
