Examination period for 2020
The NCEA and New Zealand Scholarship examination period for 2020 is as follows:
- Start – Friday 6 November 2020
- End – Wednesday 2 December 2020.
The first examination will take place on Friday 6 November 2020. There will be no examination on Friday 13 November – Canterbury Anniversary Day.
Dates will be confirmed when the examination timetable is published in December 2019.
The increase in the number of examination days is to provide the Cook Islands and Niue candidates with a better examination experience and to reduce the possibility of exam timetable clashes.
