Information for Geography external assessment 2020
As part of the regular process of review and improvement, there will be a format change to external assessment from 2020. This format change impacts on Level 1 and Level 3 Geography.
The format change involves all 3 externally assessed Level 1 Geography standards, AS91007, AS91008 and 91010. There will be a single item or question with multiple parts.
The format change also applies to Level 3 Geography externally assessed achievement standard AS91429 where there will be a single item with multiple parts.
These format changes bring all of Levels 1, 2 and 3 externally assessed standards to the same format with single items or questions with multiple parts.
See sample Level 2 Geography papers for change in format.
