New Zealand (NZ) Scholarship: change in notification of results to candidates
Online access to results
In February of the year following the examinations all candidates can access their results online through their learner login on the NZQA website.
Printed results advice
1. Letters are sent to candidates who receive the following awards:
- Top Subject Scholar
- Outstanding Scholar
- Premier Award.
This information also appears on their learner homepage.
2. Letters are also sent to candidates who meet the minimum requirements for an award but, because there are limits on the number of awardees, do not receive an award.
Change: No other New Zealand Scholarship result letters will be mailed from, and including, the 2017 examination round. The letters noted in 1 and 2 above will continue to be sent to candidates.
General information for candidates
A general information sheet for candidates considering scholarship entry is attached (PDF, 450KB). It provides links to key areas on the NZQA website for candidates. It is recommended a copy of this sheet is provided to all candidates considering entry in a New Zealand Scholarship examination.
