| This unit standard is for use in the training of electrical appliance service persons limited to single-phase. It is designed to meet the requirements of first-time instruction in testing to ensure safety as required by the EWRB. People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of: - rules, procedures, and use of instruments relating to testing for electrical safety; - safety and test procedures in relation to electrical wiring and fittings; and - safety and test procedures in relation to single-phase electrical appliances. | |||||||||
