People credited with this unit standard are able to: develop a design specification for hand tied floral designs; apply the elements and principles of design to design specifications for hand tied floral arrangements; prepare equipment, flower and plant materials for the production of hand tied floral designs; construct hand tied floral designs to specifications; plan and prepare wrapping and/or packaging materials to suit hand tied floral designs; wrap, pack, protect and enhance the presentation of hand tied floral designs; and evaluate hand tied floral designs against design specification and job requirements. | |||||||||
