How the comparison works
NZQA and United Arab Emirates National Qualification Authority have completed an initial mapping exercise to compare the number of levels, level descriptors, domains and learning outcomes at each level on both countries' qualifications frameworks.
The comparisons of the level descriptors and learning outcomes do not infer any statement about the comparability of individual qualifications on the two frameworks or the quality assurance systems that underpin them. These results have not been endorsed by stakeholders or international experts and cannot be used for qualification recognition purposes.
