General information
Candidates will be required to respond to stimulus material provided in resource booklets, as well as drawing on their own learning.
Candidates will need to have an understanding of Māori concepts and practices such as kaitiakitanga, waiora, taonga, and manaakitanga, and be able to demonstrate understanding of the application of one or more concepts in particular contexts. For more information, refer to Explanatory Note 3 of both standards.
Candidates should focus on the quality of their responses rather than the length of their responses. Candidates’ responses should provide evidence of their own conceptual thinking.
Information in planning spaces will not be marked.

Candidates will require a clear understanding of the four aspects of sustainability and how they apply within particular contexts.
