Candidates will be required to use the resources / scenarios provided for each achievement standard. In the paper examinations, the resources material will be provided in separate booklets.

Information in planning spaces will not be marked.

Material / data will be selected from the following areas for candidates to consider in their answers:

  • packaging information – promotional and nutritional features
  • macronutrients and micronutrients, and their influence on physical well-being
  • Food and Nutrition Guidelines
  • health-promotion models such as the four food groups, the ideal plate model
  • food allergies and intolerances.
