Information relating to both achievement standards

The examination will take the form of a single essay for each standard.

Candidates will be required to choose ONE of a number of statements and respond to their chosen statement throughout their essay.

Candidates are encouraged to write a concise response of no more than 750–800 words (4–5 pages). Assessment will be based on the quality of the response rather than its length. Secondary sources from media theory, criticism, or articles can be used to support the depth and validity of critical examination.

Information in planning spaces will not be marked.
