Education for Sustainability - Internal Assessment Evidence Gathering Templates

The purpose of the Internal Assessment Evidence Gathering template is to help teachers to identify evidence of student achievement for internally assessed standards that they have seen or heard within the teaching and learning programme. These templates do not signal a reduction in what is accepted for each grade, but rather a means of summarising evidence for reporting of achievement when more formal assessment has not been possible.

These templates must be viewed in conjunction with the assessment advice forwarded to schools to ensure that valid, credible and reliable assessment has occurred before the standard is awarded. This assessment advice is published here.

Level 2

  • AS90810 (PDF, 132KB) - Undertake a personal action, with reflection, that contributes to a sustainable future (2.1)
  • AS90811 (PDF, 126KB) - Explain how human activity in a biophysical environment has consequences for a sustainable future (2.2)
  • AS90813 (PDF, 125KB) - Demonstrate understanding of how personal values have implications for a sustainable future (2.3)
  • AS91734 (PDF, 131KB) - Develop a collaborative response that promotes a sustainable future, in relation to a current issue (2.5)

Level 3

  • AS90828 (PDF, 152KB) - Evaluate a personal action that contributes towards a sustainable future (3.1)
  • AS91735 (PDF, 140KB) - Evaluate measures that may be taken to sustain and/or improve a biophysical environment (3.2)
  • AS90832 (PDF, 142KB) - Develop a strategy for an organisation that will contribute to a sustainable future (3.5)
