Digital submission of evidence

With the launch of the Digital Moderation Application last year, the submission of student evidence for external moderation in digital form has increased substantially. It has risen from 5% the previous year, to 30% at present, and continues to increase as the relative ease of the process becomes apparent.

For information on how to submit student evidence in digital form, the Moderation Online page on the NZQA website provides the required steps and links to Quick Reference Guides for schools.

Level 1 Digital Technologies Standards updated

The new standards for level 1 Digital Technologies are now available on the Digital Technologies subject page. This page also provides links to the updated draft sample assessment resources.

The assessment resources should be modified to suit your students, school and/or community to ensure authenticity.

Further information that supports the Digital Technologies learning area can be found on TKI  in the Digital Technologies Hangarau Matihiko in the curriculum pages and Technology Online pages.

The existing internal Digital standards are still available for Assessment until 31 December 2018. There are exclusions between the old and the new standards as listed below. Further details can be found in this Review of Digital Technologies achievement standards document.
