Keeping up to date - Digital Moderation
Assessors can find information on a range of digital initiatives related to NCEA and assessment in a useful, teacher-focused monthly electronic newsletter: the Future State Newsbyte.
The newsletter is available on the Future State page, and also contains quick links to relevant pages and news items that are located elsewhere. The September Newsbyte (PDF, 977KB) provides information on how your school could be part of the implementation of digitally submitted moderation beginning in 2017.
Review of unit standards
A review of the three Literacy unit standards (26622, 26624, 26625) is currently underway. The expert panel are meeting in October and November to undertake this work and the reviewed standards will be published in time for assessment in 2017.
