Date new versions published                        April 2004

Main changes resulting from the review

The structure and credit value of both qualifications has changed.  The results of the review of unit standards in the subfield Hauora, completed in December 2002, have been incorporated.  The Hauora industry has provided valuable input to the content of the qualifications to improve their relevance to the industry.  Unit standards with a report writing and administrative focus have been included in both qualifications.  Treaty of Waitangi unit standards that are more relevant to the Hauora industry have been added to the National Certificate in Hauroa (Māori Health) (Level 4) [Ref: 0710].
