The NZ Furniture Industry Training Organisation has decided that the unit standards listed above, which were registered in December 1998 and December 1999, should have their period of registration extended.
The reason for the rollover is that the industry has not had enough feedback from stakeholders regarding these unit standards. The legislation on these unit standards has been updated and other minor changes have been made for consistency of wording.
The review of the unit standards is planned to take place during 2006.
