Revision of Urban Pest Managementqualification

 

National Certificate in Urban Pest Management with optional strands in Fumigation, Vertebrate Pests, Wood Borer, Shooting, Bird Control, and Textile Pests [Ref: 0256]

 

The Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Inc – Pest Management Advisory Group has revised the above qualification that was registered in July 2000.

 

Date new version published                                                                      August 2004

 

The review of this qualification is planned to take place in 2008

 

Reason for the revision

 

This qualification was issued as version 4 in order to take account of the recent review of Urban Pest Management unit standards (July 2004).

 

Changes to structure and content

·        Titles of reviewed unit standards updated

·        Level of unit standard 3259 increased from 2 to 3

·        Prerequisite diagram updated.
